Marketing Specialist

Job description

Work closely with manager, sales and business development to find ways to market Unified and our products, using your knowledge of SEO tactics to generate leads to product pages, company website, and inbound requests for conversation/more information. Create certain forms of content, i.e., social media, infographics, digital advertisements, message copy/creative to aid the production of marketing campaign materials. Assist in implementation of campaign strategies and investigate the performance of campaigns through evaluation of key performance metrics to refine strategy.

Skills Needed

• Experience with search engine optimization, lead generation, and email marketing tools

• Well-versed in the use of social media as a marketing tool

• Strong knowledge and skills related to SEO, Google ad placement and Google analytics

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, i.e., graphic design software, including Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.

• Experience with website building and optimization, i.e., WordPress or similar tools; or ability to learn intermediary skills quickly

• Strong writing skills

• Good problem-solving and communication skills

• Meticulous and ability to complete successfully very task-specific projects


Desired Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience in digital marketing and advertising

• Understanding of website metrics and best practices

• Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Knowledge of Content Management Software (CMS)

• Knowledge of HTML and CSS.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field


Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.

• Manage prospect lists and segmentation within CRM for targeted marketing communications.

• Work with colleagues at all levels to develop marketing goals and evaluate results

• Assist in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as events planning, advertising, optimization, and content development

• Create innovative digital campaigns and present the recommendations to manager

• Investigate the performance of marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement at needed.
